Did you know I take interesting pictures on sites that AREN’T Fantage? Well, okay, one of these is from Fantage, but still.
First of all, if anyone remembers Anna’s experiences finding cereal, I’ve managed to stumble upon something almost as strange. This being after the billionth political ad, since the Canadian federal election hadn’t happened at the time I took this picture.
Where do I even begin…? I don’t know why I’m getting Christmas-themed ads in the middle of October, I don’t know who thought it was a good idea to use COMIC SANS of all things for their ad, I don’t know what’s up with the weird word choice, and, most importantly, I don’t even know who would WANT one of these things.
Moving right along, we have an exclusive picture from the making of Fantage Marianna…
This is what WP shows you when you post something another author originally wrote (or something you reposted and changed so that it displayed as having another author) while not having any posts yourself. So while I was helping get FM set up, I ended up making a lot of “0th posts” on that blog.
While we’re on the subject of WP, I thought this timing in my reader was kind of funny.
Be sure to follow Fairy Life and The Wand of Fantage!
Why, yes, I do think Katie’s Fantage song is underrated. It’s catchy, and it totally deserves greater publicity. 😉
So what do you think? Should I keep taking pictures of interesting moments like these, or should I stick to making posts about Fantage? (I take a lot more Fantage pictures than I do pictures like these…) Do you want a most unique gift for Christmas? Are you already thinking about what you want for Christmas? (I don’t know how anyone could, but then again, my birthday is between now and then and we don’t start celebrating until December.) Does Fantage make YOU wanna scream? If you have an answer to any of these questions, and even if you don’t, feel free to leave a comment below! 😛
Random things, 🙂

Hmm, maybe I’ll do that if I find more random things to take pictures of! Not everything is INTERESTING, after all. 😉

What an ugly add. Seriously though, WHY COMIC SANS!?
Probably some really poorly designed with basic HTML website that it links to, too.

I DON’T KNOW.
Yeah, probably… I don’t click ads. Funnily enough, basic HTML is what I’m supposed to be looking over right now. 😛

Basic HTML is easy. It’s once you combine it with CSS it gets so difficult…

I guess I’m sort of used to HTML and CSS, since IIRC BRD uses both of those (mostly BBCode, though). But then again, I’ve never built my own webpage from scratch…

ahaha one year, I had a teacher who ONLY used comic sans. it annoyed me so much xD

Wow, seriously? -_- Though almost all of my teachers have terrible taste in fonts…

The heck… All of my teachers use comic sans. Not only comic sans, but they use it sometimes which bugs me to no end.

Ugh, I guess it’s because their generation didn’t grow up with the Internet and so they have terrible taste in fonts. 😛

Definitely post more like this. Made me laugh. ;D
And that ad has been on my computer, too. It looks so creepy, I don’t know who thought it was a good idea. D:

I will if I can find more INTERESTING things to take pictures of! 😉
To me, the ad just looks plain weird. It’d be creepy, but it’s way too poorly made to be creepy IMO. 😛

LOL
It is poorly made XD
THAT HEAD GIVES ME THE CREEPS THOUGH.

It reminds me of a Poser cover, TBH. 😛

It reminds me of one of those little shops that don’t have a lot of money but still want to advertise, so they put up the cheapest and ugliest posters ever.

Yeahhhhhh. I do wonder how you can have so little money that you’re forced to use Comic Sans, though.

Not everyone hates Comic Sans, I guess.
To me it doesn’t look that bad, just a little unprofessional. 😛

I used to use it (and a few other fonts) for “journal-style” things on Word, but I really don’t think it’s good for anything else… Actually, “cursive” fonts in general aren’t really good for looking professional.

Some of the cursive fonts are pretty, though. 😛
LikeLike
Yeah, they are! They’re just not that good for super-professional stuff. On the other hand, something like (bleh) Times New Roman might be good for a professional document, but not for a journal. No font is good at doing everything!

I really hate Times New Roman, no offense if you like it.
Its just my opinion. I think its pretty over-used. 😛

I HATE IT, TOO! I’ve always hated it, ugh. -_- My favorite “standard” font used to be Arial, but I also have a soft spot for Century Gothic (it’s what the default font on BRD is and all…). 😛

My favourite right now is Arial!
I think its not over-used, and it doesn’t look bad either. 😀

Yeah, Arial is great! I don’t like Calibri or whatever the default MS Word font is, though… Just… Bleh…

I really hate it. >.<
Our school is doing a Halloween thing, and they used the UGLIEST font possible.
Where is your taste?

Ew…
I think these people kept their tastes from the 90s.

I wonder if people in the 2030s are going to look back at 2010s design and think “ew, that looks so ugly”…

Lool. Scary thought. XD
I wonder if people in the 2030s will look at 2015 clothes and be like ewww, why they wear so many layers and cover up so much skin just like we think now for the 1900s.
LikeLike
Well, since fashion tends to repeat itself every 20 years, clothes from now will probably be in style again then. 😛 Maybe during the 22nd century…

I noticed that less material=more expensive. WHY?…
LikeLike
It’s probably due to a) the quality of the clothes and b) the amount people think they can charge. 😛

Lool I think its more b. The quality of those clothes aren’t even that good. I made the mistake of trying something on, and got so tangled in the straps that I’m pretty sure that costume is now ruined forever, not that its much of a loss. 😉

Well, its a little annoying, but I sometimes do that to people when I don’t have enough time to read everything. I try to read everything, but tbh (don’t get offended I’m being honest here) some posts just don’t interest me.

None taken! I’ll admit I scroll past some posts (usually giveaway reblogs), but there’re a bunch of people who have liked my posts seconds after I’ve posted them and never, ever commented. I don’t really understand the point of liking posts you’re not going to read… That was never a thing on BVWP. 😛

I’ve been wondering… what IS BVWP?
.~.

BVWP was Bearville WordPress. If you go to my old BV blog, you can find a page with a list of people who were in it. It was a lot smaller than FTWP, but everyone was friends with each other. It was nice… 🙂

I honestly didn’t know that existed. Actually, I’ve been on your blog before. I just thought Bearville was another game, similar to Fantage. XD

It was! The trading system was WAYYYYY better than MyMall, too. 😆 Not very many people really knew about BVWP until closer to the end, so I don’t blame you for not knowing… I didn’t know FTWP was this big until I joined it. 😛
